New Novella Finished!!!!

Posted: March 16, 2013 in Uncategorized

In my last posting, I mentioned that I was deep into a new novella.  Well, just this past week I finished it, topping out at well over 17,000 words!  And I am very impressed at how it looks on paper!  I’m still polishing up the last several pages, but I’m sure by tomorrow I’ll have it ready for submission to Cemetery Dance, for the ebook branch.  It’ll be tough to crack them, but I did it once, way back-in-the-day, with a short story acceptance for their very first issue of CD Magazine.  Maybe I’ll luck out again!  Fingers crossed!

Breaking News!!!

Posted: March 1, 2013 in Uncategorized

I’m sure the handful of you who follow this blog have been wondering what happened to me.  Well, I’ve been busy!  Started a new novella on February 6, and am at the 10K word mark right now!!!  Yay!!  It’s coming along very well, and I sure hope I’ll be able to sell it quicker than the others that I’ve sold to small press publishers.

Another bit of news: I sold a story to Jeani Rector earlier last year for an upcoming TPB anthology of all-new fiction from writers at the Horror Zine!  It’s a good tale too!  Just this morning, Jeani let everyone know that she finally landed a publisher for the antho!  WooHoo!  Imajin Books will be publishing the anthology, entitled, Shadow Masters: An Anthology From The Horror Zine, sometime later this year (hopefully sooner than later!).  I’m sure I’ll have additional details in the near future, but suffice to say, this antho will have some heavy hitters in the horror field: Bentley Little, Graham Masterton, Simon Clark, Melanie Tem, Elizabeth Massie, J. G. Faherty, Ronald Malfi, Lisa Morton, and many others!  It also features a Foreword by Joe R. Lansdale!  I can’t wait to see this in print!

That’s it for now.  Thanks for checking back!
